Green Funds Transparency aims to be an innovative digital platform focused on monitoring, analyzing and publishing data on the use of funds dedicated to climate and environmental projects in Albania. The platform aims to increase transparency and accountability by providing a powerful tool for citizens, non-governmental organizations, donors and government institutions to effectively track and report the use of funds.
The platform will collect, analyze and publish detailed data on the allocation and use of funds from the government, international donors and non-governmental organizations. It will provide a powerful tool for monitoring and tracking results, ensuring that funds are used effectively and transparently. With a dedicated team and support from various partners, the platform aims to become a reliable and sustainable resource for citizens, organizations and donors seeking to track and understand how funds are being used for climate and environmental purposes in the country.

Why?
Green Funds Transparency is an important initiative to promote transparency and accountability in the use of funds intended for climate and environmental projects in Albania. As an innovative digital platform, it aims to make data on allocation and use of funds accessible to the public, enabling detailed monitoring and reliable reporting. This platform is expected to contribute to improving the governance of climate and environmental projects, increasing public awareness and involvement in their monitoring and follow-up processes.
Making transparency on funds dedicated to climate and environmental projects such as public governmental ones and those of international donors
Funds intended for climate and environmental projects may be diverted or misused for personal purposes or purposes unrelated to the intended projects. will help monitor and report suspected cases of misuse of funds, increasing the oversight of the public and other institutions.
Green Funds Transparency will be used by international organisations, embassies, government agencies, local organisations, citizens and the media to access detailed information on the allocation and use of funds for climate and environmental projects. They will be able to track which projects have been funded, how much funding has been allocated to each project and which institutions or companies have benefited from funding for climate and environmental projects.
