Greenfundstransparency – Project Development

Project Overview

The Greenfundstransparency project began as a continuation of the idea presented at the ANTI-CORRUPTION HACKATHON 2024: BALKANS, a Tech4Good initiative that brought together individuals and professionals to co-create anti-corruption solutions through emerging technologies.

Current Phase

After a short pause, the implementation of the idea has resumed, focusing on the development of an application for monitoring and tracking the use of foreign donor and public funds.

Acknowledgements

We would like to express our gratitude to the members who joined the idea from its early days and contributed significantly during its initial phase:

  • Ms. Anxhela Bruci
  • Ms. Ines Decolli
  • Ms. Dea Mosho

For personal reasons, these members will no longer continue as part of the team. Mr. Bashkim Shalla has also expressed his decision not to continue participating in the project.

Team & Goals

Currently, Mr. Gerald Koçi and Mr. Mikel Qafa are working on the implementation of this innovative idea, with the goal of creating a transparent and reliable platform for the management and use of funds made available to Albania.

Technology & Approach

In collaboration with the project’s mentors, the team is currently in the technological development phase, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the generation and tracking of funds through public procurement portals and open data sources published by the relevant institutions.

Our Commitment

We are enthusiastic about this innovative process, which aims to create an accessible and trustworthy system for all stakeholders.
